Policy Development and Legislative Advocacy

MedChi’s House of Delegates is the means by which organized medicine develops policy and issues for legislative advocacy here in Maryland. The HOD meets twice each year. Through BCMS, you may engage to offer resolutions, serve as a delegate, or alternate delegate, or attend the HOD to share your position on resolutions and reports.

Join your colleagues from across the state on Monday evening during the General Assembly to review legislation that could impact your profession or your practice
Volunteer to testify on a bill

Participate in the BCMS “lobby day” or “Physicians House Call on Annapolis
Attend the annual end-of Session legislative wrap up and CME activity
